Author, noted community economist, and long-time Montgomery County resident, Mr. Shuman will discuss the challenges facing small businesses, opportunities for revitalizing them, and challenges they face from mainstream economic developers.  He will reflect on his experience serving recently on the Montgomery County Economic Advisory Group, and share some of his ideas (drawn from his latest book, Put Your Money Where Your Life Is) for moving capital from Wall Street in MoCo small businesses.
